The Process

Involves your initial inquiry, a personal meeting, a site visit & a budget that we progress into a proposal outlining service & scope of work.

A creative phase; we bring together ideas, refine designs, integrate client needs into a concept & final design…

The assembling phase; acquire permits, details & drawings, source materials, finishing specifications, define timelines…
‘any small section of a larger structure or whole, considered as a unit.’

The physical phase of change; deconstruction & demolition, restructuring & rebuilding.

Yes. We coordinate trades as indicated; electricians, plumbers, masonry, concrete, designers, painters, etc.

How skilled are your craftsmen?

Our journeymen are provincial Red Seal accredited and have over 35 years of combined experience.

What systems do you have in place to manage the cost of a project?

In following the structure “Design, Build, Construct” we develop realistic budgets. These initial budgets are based on most recent projects as they accurately reflect the current market & economy. We obtain quotes that are specific to your project from suppliers and trades.  As construction progresses we frequently revisit the projected budget to keep costs on track.

How do you manage quality?

For a project to have a successful outcome, it must be quality. We achieve this through effective communication and clearly defined objectives. We continually review material and construction options that fit within the projected budget. And one of our basic principals is integrity; we offer a 2 year warranty on workmanship.

How does Oxbow Builders help clients maintain peace of mind?

Together we determine your preferred level of involvement. If you have a clearly defined vision but prefer to be minimally involved, we can reliably look after the details. If you prefer to be more involved, we’re happy to work closely with you throughout the process.
